Sofema Online Opens Applications for 2026 Aviation Leadership Scholarship

SOFIA, BULGARIA, April 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Sofema Online has announced the commencement of the application period for the fifth edition of its Aviation Leadership Scholarship. For the 2026 program, the organization is allocating more than €50,000 to provide training for 100 selected aviation professionals.

The scholarship program consists of eight professional development courses with a combined value exceeding €500 per recipient. The curriculum includes:

Aviation Leadership and Management Skills Development – Leadership Skills

Aviation Leadership – Body Language for Executives

Aviation Leadership and Management Skills Development – Building Competency

Aviation Leadership and Management Skills Development – Communication and Assertiveness

Aviation Leadership and Management Skills Development – Public Speaking

Aviation Leadership – Developing Teams

Aviation Leadership and Management Skills Development – Core Principles of Operational Excellence

Aviation Leadership – Negotiating Skills

Participants will receive an online certificate upon the completion of each individual course. Those who successfully finish all eight modules will be eligible for the Aviation Future Leaders Scholarship Certificate, which is issued as a digital document.

Application Requirements

The application window remains open until April 30, 2026. Interested candidates are required to complete an online form consisting of 15 questions and submit a motivation letter detailing their professional goals and commitment to the aviation industry. The selection committee has noted that original, non-AI-generated content is preferred in the applications.

Program Timeline and Details

Selected candidates will be notified and enrolled in early May 2026. Scholarship recipients are granted six months to complete the full training program. As a supplement to the online modules, winners will participate in exclusive online workshops hosted by Steve Bentley, CEO of Sofema Aviation Services and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS).

There is no enrollment fee for the individuals selected for the program. This 2026 edition continues an initiative that has previously included 400 scholarship recipients.
