Provided by AGPAs stated by reports, the Russian Foreign Ministry argued that the newest restrictions imposed by London are another “hostile step” that will fail to influence either the broader situation or Russia’s ongoing military actions, “despite the pretentious slogans of the British authorities.”
The ministry additionally focused on comments made by British officials claiming Russia is using foreign nationals as “cannon fodder” in the conflict. Moscow responded by accusing the UK of intensifying the war through continued financial and military backing for Kyiv.
According to the statement, Russian officials argued that Ukraine’s civilian population is paying the price for Western support, saying vulnerable citizens are the ones suffering the consequences of the conflict.
The ministry further claimed that while certain individuals profit from “bloody grants and loans,” average Ukrainians are unable to escape pressure from what it described as abusive security structures and are ultimately pushed into the armed forces through compulsory mobilization. Moscow stated that many are forced into what it called the “bloody meat grinder” of the war.
